As we prepare for spring, I am sharing 21 of my favorite outdoor garden finds with you all. Bring on the warmer weather!
Hello Spring … I think I am beginning to see you!
You guys, the warmer weather is almost here and I am so excited to get outside. Spring does come early here in Georgia and while I know many of you are still covered under snow and freezing temps, I feel it is never too late to start planning!
In Georgia there are (what seems like) basically only two sweet spots when we can be outside, comfortably. There are a few weeks in early spring before the high temps arrive that are simply perfect (despite all of the pollen). There are also a few weeks that are simply beautiful right before winter. In between those two sweet spots, the high temps and the intense humidity can make it difficult to enjoy being outside.
So, as Georgia begins to see the signs of our early spring, I get so excited … because I know our ‘time’ to really enjoy the outside weather is limited. I am going to enjoy it while I can!
As the anticipation of being outside builds, I am inspired to share 21 of my favorite outdoor garden finds with you.
Yesterday I shared the details of our DIY raised garden box that Mark made over the weekend and you guys fell in love. However, many of you said that you didn’t think you could make it (even though Mark’s instructions were amazing) because of space, lack of tools, etc. I get it – this sucker is big!
But, I did just find this raised garden box that is almost identical and it costs less than what Mark paid for the wood to make ours!
And this one even has a cold frame! (The perfect addition to keep those plants warm and cozy.)
And I think I may order this one to add to our ‘raised bed collection.’
You can also shop here for more affordable raised bed options.
We have our planter box right outside next to our vintage patio furniture. I can not wait to sit outside on our back deck in a few weeks and soak up the sunshine. I get questions all the time about my patio furniture but because it’s vintage you can not order the exact one online.
But, I did find this newer set that is almost identical.
I also thought this vintage inspired set was very cool.
And I love the bright color of this set.
And … this may be my favorite patio set of all.
My favorite outdoor furniture item you ask?? It has to be this table ( I have two of them) and I use them all season long! There are so many colors to choose from. You can also find that table in white here too.
This wouldn’t be a FAVORITES outdoor garden post without listing a few of my favorite vintage gardening items, like this vintage gardening tool.
Or this vintage watering can.
Or these vintage metal plant markers.
Or these vintage planters. You can check out this post for more information about some of my favorite planters.
I use these vintage pieces all the time in by outdoor garden area – for both decor and function!
I am all about living on our back porch when the weather is nice and it wouldn’t be as fun without these lights. We love to turn them on at night and just hang out.
We always use these candles to keep the bugs away. And I really like this fancy one.
We use this to store all the outdoor garden ‘clutter.’ We keep extra pillows, our garden tools, and the bird food in here.
It wouldn’t be a cozy area without outdoor pillows. These are very similar to the ones that we got last year.
And I am loving these outdoor waterproof pillows too for the season ahead. They have every color under the sun.
And these Walmart pillows are super cute and very affordable.
As you know, being outside never gets old (as long as the weather is alright)! And having creating a beautiful and cozy space in your backyard always makes it more fun! I could talk about a million more things that I love for outside – both vintage and new – but for now, 21 will do! Cheers to outdoor living (in style)!
