I know, I know … YES, I know that I am a ‘Home Decor’ account but can you believe that I do actually other things in addition to antiques and decorating! I do!!! In fact, I like a lot of different kinds of things and I think that it is about time I begin sharing them here on the blog!
With this in mind, I thought I would share a few of the (random) Facebook Pages/Groups that I enjoy! I think you might like them too! Here are 5 that I am enjoying right now – in no particular order!
Living Well Mama
I have been a member of this group for many years. This is where I go to look up ingredients in food as well as in beauty products. There is a lot of information among the posts in this group, so use the “search tool” for answers to any questions that you may have. I do that often. Here in this group, she shares lists of ingredients (in food and in products) that we should avoid for the sake of our own health! I reference those list often. If health and wellness are something that you are interested in and that you enjoy then you will love this group!
Unappreicated Puns
Do you ever catch yourself laughing at a meme here and there as you are scrolling through your social media channels? I know I do! I love the feeling that these funny memes can evoke (I don’t care for the nasty or mean ones) and there is a facebook group called Unappreciated Puns that certainly highlights some good ones. Hop over there is you are craving a bit ‘lighter’ content or if you just want a good belly laugh once in a while!
View From My Window
This facebook group was actually started during the pandemic – when we were all separated from friends and family. The idea is simple: share a view from YOUR window. It is a very charming way to see the world through the ‘windows’ of ordinary people all around the world. There is now an official website and even a book that has been published. In my opinion, it is refreshing to see a simple, real life, unstaged (most of the time) views from across the globe!
Space.com
This group is perfect for those of you who enjoy ‘the great unknown.’ I love the photos that they sahrea as well as reading the articles that they post. This group helps to remind me that we are all part of ONE BIG UNIVERSE and that we ought to respect that fact. I guess you could say that this facebook group makes me feel small, in the very best way!
Classical Music
As you may know, I played the violin for many years before putting it down to begin my carer in music therapy right after college. Music has always been a big part of my life and I am particularly drawn to classical music. The power of music amazes me – it really can change your mood, evoke a forgotten memory, and bright up your darkest days!

That’s So Minnesota…beautiful nature and wildlife photos. Obviously those of us who live in the state would enjoy this group, but I would think there are similar groups around the country.

Emily – with your daughter on the cusp of college, I highly recommend the group grown and flown. Well I don’t love everything they post, lots of the comments about senior year ideas, college searches, preparing for college intrigue exams as well as first day of college etc. is really really helpful and reassuring that you are not alone…
