5 Finds Today: Fridays At 5:00

Today I was able to get out and do a little shopping and oh what fun it was. Sometimes you have to just go an adventure and that is exactly what I did. As I usually do, I decided to share the adventure with my IG family over on Instagram. Boy was it fun to walk through the aisles of a few little shops and share that adventure in real time. While I did share a handful of my finds in stories, I didn’t share EVERYTHING. Below I am sharing my 5 very favorite finds from my shopping adventure today!

Radio Flyer

This is the coolest little wagon. It isn’t the oldest one that I have ever owned but I thought it had a really great look! Can’t you just see it full of pumpkins for the fall! I think it is going to be a great display piece. The best part – it was 50% off – SCORE!

Old European Bread Board

So, I may not have needed another one of these, but I couldn’t help myself. This is a European Bread Board that I found at a shop that specializes in French antiques. I really love the worn areas on this one – you can tell this bread board has seen a few meals!

Vintage Cooler

Ok – so I love this cooler. There are no graphics at all (there isn’t even a label) but there was something about this old cooler that made my heart smile. It reminds me of what a family would take for their fall picnic!

Vintage Paper Sorter

Oh my stars, this piece made me smile. I love this little paper sorter and it has a drawer too – with a cool graphic! WHAT!!! I love this piece so much too because it says Atlanta and Birmingham, which means it is a local piece for me! I love buying old pieces that are from my area. The icing on the cake for this piece is that it is a nice deep green color – perfect for the holidays that are coming up!

Coolest Bird Bath Ever

So, I saved the best (and the heaviest) find for last. This old swan bird bath has it all: character, wear, and charm! I love the colors here too – that green and red are so perfect for the holidays and beyond. I should also mention that I have seen a lot of bird baths in my time, but never one with such character. While it definetly needs a good cleaning, this is by far my favorite find from today!
