It just would not feel like fall without a few of these fall harvest pieces around my home. Today, I am sharing a roundup of a few of my my favorites!
Fall is the season of the harvest, a time to gather nature’s bounty of fruits, vegetables ,and grains. Long ago, people would preserve these fruits and vegetables for the upcoming cold winter. These days, however, that isn’t necessary for most people. Nonetheless, many of us do still like to include reminders of the ‘fall harvest’ in and around our homes during the fall months. Adding in these little fall harvest touches can help to remind us that the seasons are changing and that winter is approaching!
As I sit here reminiscing, I think back on some of my very first fall decor treasures that I bought long ago. They were these little ceramic gourds and pumpkins that I purchased (probably for only a dollar or two). The colors were deep greens and oranges and browns and I can remember carefully placing them on the window sill of our first home. I can still remember that feeling of “fall” that washed over me as I put them out on display. I liked that feeling – it reminded me of my childhood. From that year on, I have always decorated my home for fall, and I especially love the “fall harvest” pieces that I have picked up over the years. As my style (and budget) have evolved over the years, so have my ‘fall decor’ choices. But, one thing has stayed the same, I really, really enjoy incorporating pieces that remind me of a fall harvest each and every year.
While my heart will always lean towards the vintage items that I find, this past week I did begin shopping around here and there for a few new decor items for my home. I recently have found some great very cute new items to use as well, such as this $10.00 fall wreath and this adorable little fall basket. With this in mind, I wanted to do a very quick roundup of some of my very favorite fall harvest things that I have seen online! Divided into categories, my hope is that the vision of these pieces will warm your souls and remind you of the crisp, cool fall days that are ahead of us!

Yesterday on Instagram (follow me here), I announced that I am officially ready to begin decorating for fall. I have already shared a little bit of fall content here on the blog, like these fall grasses or these simple fall decorating tips, but really I really was excited to share with you this Fall Harvest Decor Roundup. I hope you like them too! Cheers to all the creating and decorating that awaits us.
