I am so excited because today I was able to go the very best adventure. I hopped in my car early this morning, 6:00am to be exact, and head towards Barnesville, Ga. There I jumped on Highway 314 and traveled down that road, hitting little yard sales and booths all along the way! This weekend is the Peaches to Beaches yard sale – and boy did I enjoy it!
The Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale is an annual event all along US Highway 341, otherwise known as the Golden Isles Parkway. The 220+ mile yard sale links peach-growing counties in middle Georgia to the beaches of the Golden Isles, with stops in several communities along the way. Hence the name, Peaches to Beaches! The even usually takes place in March, but because of the pandemic, they moved it to the first weekend in August. Below is a copy of a map I found online!
I had such a great time picking and hunting today. It is so much fun! I took you along with me in stories, so hop over to my IG to see To top it all off, I found some amazing finds along the way. Below I am sharing my top 5 finds form my adventures along the Peaches to Beaches Trial!
Printers Cabinet
This cabinet was such a fun find. Like so many of you, I love pieces with lots of little drawers! This fits that description for sure! Plus, it is a such a unique piece! I have no idea what I am going to do with it – but I just had to have it! I paid about $125 for it!
Spinning Wheel
This was my first real purchase if the day and I snagged this pair of spinning wheels for $40.00 – what a bargin! I plan to keep one for myself and then sell one in the booth! I can not wait to play around with it in my home. I am thinking that it will look great hanging on a large wall somehow! Stay tuned!
10 Gallon Crock
You guys, I have been looking for a large crock since the beginning of the year (see this post to see the list of things that I wanted to find out junkin in 2021) and today I found one! And, can you believe that I paid only $65.00 for it! I was thrilled to say the least! I can not wait to fill it with all sorts if things …. my mind in racing with ideas already!
Old Baskets
I love old baskets and today I managed to find three really good ones! I love that they are misshaped and a little tattered! I am not sure what I am going to do with them yet – but I am happy to have them. I paid $20.00 each for the large ones and $15.00 for the small one!
Small Beaumont Brothers Bowl
So, this piece is a favorite of mine, not because it is a really rare or expensive find. I paid $10.00 for this little guy, and I snagged it because of the sweet little hand written note that was taped inside. I truly love these old hand written messages describing the pieces that they area attached to. Now I know that this bowl was made in 1921 and came from York, Maine.
Wrap Up
I got several other pieces today – you can zoom in on this loot shoot picture below to see more. And – that isn’t even all of it. For example, not photographed is this amazing old clock:
And also this really cool comb/brush mirror set:
I hope to share even more about my adventure across the Peaches to Beaches trail in my IG stories tomorrow! Stay tuned! Until then, zoom in on my loot shoot picture below and tell me what your very favorite piece is!

We have a 25 gal crock my husband and I have emptied pocket change in. At one time it was a good place for our children to get money. Now that we are empty nesters it stays full. 🤔

My husband and I went to the sale years ago and made it all the way to Brunswick. We live very close by and decided to try it this year. Wow, that was a lot of traffic! We traveled about 8 miles past Barnesville and turned around. We spent the day finding popup yard sales that were close by. You found some great things.
