As some of you may know, I started this little blog at the very end of August of 2020 – how has it even been that long ago?!? That means that 2021 is my first full year of being a blogger and boy have I learned a lot. I have written a total of 197 Blog posts to date and most of these were written in 2021. With that in mind, I thought it would be fun – on this last day of 2021 – to see which are my top 5 Blog Posts for the year! I decided to dig into my analytics to see what they were and I am sharing them below!
5. Amelia Island, Our Family Beach House
I shared our family beach house here on the blog (tap here to see the post) this year and you guys loved it.
This place actually belongs to my parents but they are generous enough to share it with us during the year.
I wish we could get down there more often and once you see it you may just want to join us!
4. How To Build A Birdhouse With Scrap Wood
This was a fun DIY that Mark did earlier this year.
We really wanted to make a few birdhouses to both sell at the booth and for our home.
All you need are a few scraps of wood and a little free time!
You can see the whole project here.
3. Antique Booth Basics, How To Begin The Process
This blog post was so much fun to write because it is something that is dear to my heart.
I have had a booth for a long time and I shared a few tips on how to get started.
If you have ever wanted to try your hand at having a booth (2022 goal perhaps???) then this may be helpful to you.
You can check out my tips here.
2. How To Clean Old Bottles
Have you ever found an old bottle and wondered how you were going to clean it?
I shared a few tips on what has worked for me in the past and you can thank my dad for many of these suggestions.
Old bottles can be tricky since there are so many reasons for the dirt, discoloration or cloudiness, but these are worth a shot!
You can see my tips right here.
1. How To Tell If You Have An Old Blow Mold
This was my top post of 2021, which means that many people are out finding old blow molds.
I can not tell you how happy makes me!
I love blow molds and I have many over the years – but sometimes it can be hard to tell if they are indeed vintage.
These tips (click here to see them) may help you decide the next time you find one!
Wrap Up
So that is it. These are the top posts from 2021. Some of these actually surprise me if I am being honest, but I am glad that these are some of your favs! 2021 has been so much fun but I am here to tell you that 2022 is going to be even more fun – and I can not wait to share it with you. Cheers to all of the fun ahead of us!
