I am excited to share with you all the cutest vintage Halloween decor. From whimsical to spooky, these little pieces are just so cute!
As you may know by now, my passion for vintage Halloween runs pretty deep. I have been collecting vintage Halloween items for many years and while I don’t have a mega huge collection like some of my friends, I do love it all! A few days ago I re-shared my first ’roundup’ of my favorite Halloween decor items with you. You can check that post out here. I am excited to add to that ‘list’ of vintage Halloween goodies today. My hope is that this will help you to begin (or add to) your own personal vintage Halloween collection!
As I said in my first Halloween Roundup Post, I prefer to shop in antique stores and markets for my Halloween goodies. I really like to ‘find’ them myself. However, I am aware that it can be very hard to find these things and I have added some pieces to my personal collection by shopping online. I have included some online links to items below to demonstrate what you can find if you do want to surf the internet!
Vintage Halloween Cake Toppers
These old pieces would have been popped onto the tops of cakes and cupcakes years ago. While they are sort of small, they sure do pack a huge Halloween punch! I love their cute little faces and their whimsical feel. I usually find these at antique stores or deep in the kitchens at estate sales – and I even sometimes find them in ‘grab bags’ full of all sorts of things. Many times I have purchased a huge bag of vintage cake decorating items, only to pull out the halloween pieces that I love and donate the rest! These little cuties are so much fun!

These little guys can be hard to display sometimes but I have found that dropping them into a little flower frog or a small old spool of tread works well!
Vintage Halloween Candy Containers
These pieces would have been used to hold little candies and are usually made of hard plastic. I love the bright Halloween colors and the interesting shapes and sizes. These are the perfect addition to your vintage Halloween collection.

Vintage Halloween Masks
From classic costumes like pumpkins and goblins to favorite TV and movie characters, these old masks have evolved over time for sure. I can remember wearing these as a child (and I can remember how hot they were too!) A few notable costume makers are Ben Cooper, Halco, and Collegeville. While I don’t have my personal ones from my childhood, here are a few that I have found over the years. My favorite is the Frankenstien! I have even been known to wear my old masks in the school carpool pick up line in years past – they kids always get a kick out of that!

Vintage Halloween Noisemakers
Long ago, nosiemakers were a fun an inexpensive way to celebrate Halloween. These little toys come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and are usually covered in the cutest little halloween graphics. Either paper or plastic, these little noisemakers offer the perfect vintage touch.

Vintage Halloween Honeycomb
It has been hard for me to find these honeycomb pieces over the years. Because they are fragile and break easily they are pretty rare. I am ALWAYS on the lookout for these cuties. The few that I have are small but I always pop them onto a shelf with other pieces this time of year!

Because these honeycomb items can be hard to find. I thought I would share a few similar reproductions here!
In Closing
I hope this inspires you to go out there and begin hunting for your own Halloween goodies, whether online or in person. I will say, I feel these items are getting harder and harder to find, so if you see something while you are out and about then you better scoop it up!
Finally, I thought I would leave you with a few interesting links about the history of Halloween. This truly is a fun and whimsical season!
